Firefighter Sean Snyder served with Rural Metro Fire for 12 years.
He was a firefighter/EMTM/HAZMAT Technician in Yuma County, Arizona. 
In 2006 and 2008, he was awarded firefighter of the year .

 Lou Witzeman

Lous Witzeman was the founder of Rural Metro Fire. 
Mr. Witzeman founded the organization after he witnessed a neighbor's home burn to the ground. He opened the doors of the company in February of 1948 with one fire engine and 4 firefighters. Rural Metro Fire continues to be a leading national provider of fire protection services in unincorporated communites, based upon Lou Witzeman's original principles.
