Lithium-ion batteries are in many new devices and with the rise of this battery’s use, the number of incidents of battery fires have increased. The recharging capability of these types of batteries contributes to their popularity but also to their combustibility. Rural Metro Fire has noticed an increase in house fires caused by these types of batteries.
